Message I've seen pictures of Hakens intake pipes (all rusted to
hell). I even went and took pictures of my intake pipes to
compare and clearly I had *ZERO* rust/staining of any kind.

I find it odd that Haken had so much rust when he lives in
Arizona (driest climate in the world, or at least west of
cleveland). And I lived in fairly humid Dallas and Saint
Louis during my water injection days.

I feel the key to having a low cost, low maintenance water
injection system is to use washer fluid ONLY (5% alcohol,
1% glycol, 94% water). It has much less alcohol, and adds
glycol which reduces water tension... It also does not
effect the fuel curve since you are not adding any
combustible materials to the intake.

I also dont believe that the moist air stays in the intake
tract, unless you spray then shut the car off. The engine
consumes that moist air and replaces it with ambient air (once you quit spraying).

However, Like Greg, these are simply MY experiences.
Watching Damons car gain 50 RWtorque by just adding water
was incredible.
